I would like to thank the following three people for travelling miles out of their way, literally, and appearing several times for photograph taking, often at short notice (ages and grades as of 2004).
Sung Ju-hwan (28) is 2nd Dan Aikido in the Korean Aikido Federation (Aikikai) and has been training in Aikido for nine years. He is a Police Officer and graduated from the Korean Police National University where he established the Police Aikido Club. He is also 3rd Dan Hapkido and 1st Dan Taekwondo.
Rho Hyeon-u (26) is 2nd Dan Aikido in the Korean Aikido Federation (Aikikai) and has been training for eight years. He is a student of Seoul National University and majors in Engineering.
Karl Fenning (27) is 2nd Dan Aikido in Buikukai and based in New Zealand. He trained in Korea for a total of about one year, at which time he also studied the Korean art Gicheonmun. He is a training architect working with computer aided design.
